August 28, 2018

In an effort to support the volcano recovery effort on Hawaii island, Hilton Grand Vacations has donated $25,000 to the Hawaii Island Volcano Recovery Fund at the Hawaii Community Foundation. To date, the fund has raised over $750,000 to support Hawaii Island communities affected by the Kilauea volcano eruption.

“Hilton Grand Vacations has significant operations on both Hawaii Island and Oahu where our team members live and work and our owners and guests vacation,” says Mark Wang, president and CEO, Hilton Grand Vacations. “We care deeply about our communities and are pleased to support the tremendous efforts of the Hawaii Community Foundation to help with disaster relief and recovery.”

“We are grateful for the many individuals and companies, including Hilton Grand Vacations, that have stepped up to care for these communities while they recover,” says Diane Chadwick, HCF’s director of community philanthropy on the island of Hawaii. “Contributions like these support efforts that provide housing, case management, legal and other essential services for those impacted by the Kilauea Volcano eruption.”
