The 2014 list of Top 100 Companies for Working Families is based on scores collected from an application that included a broad selection of questions. Applicants provided comprehensive details of workplace advantages in categories of core benefits, family-related benefits, work environment, communication, and training. Winning companies were determined by the data they provided in their application which was reviewed and scored by an independent panel of human resources experts.
